Tiger Balm is a legendary pain relieving product developed for a Chinese emporer more than a centuray ago during the Ching Dynasty. The commercialization of Tiger Balm dates back more than 130 years ago to Rangoon, Burma, where the father of Aw Boon Haw and Aw Boon Par mixed it in his apothecary shop. Boon Haw and Boon Par further perfected the formula with camphor mixed with menthol, cajupt, clove, cassia and perppermint oil. To these days, those ingredients are essential in all Tiger Balm products and have been unchanged for the 100 years. Today, Tiger Balm is the world's most widely used muti-purpose ointments, it soothes and relieves pains from arthritis, overexertion and vigorous physical actitives. It is also used for tired and cramped legs and also as sports warm-up.
