The HPH-4 High Power HID controller allows the user to connect up to (4) 1000 watt HID ballasts to one main control ''relay''.
It is designed to safely control HID lights from a single 30-amp power source.
It accomplishes this by using a 16 foot ''trigger'' cable that connects to a timelock or the MDT-1.
When the timer connected to the trigger cable turns on, the heavy-duty relay inside the HPH-4 is energized. When the relay is energized, the lights are turned on.
Has 4 UNIVERSAL receptacles that accept either a 120 volt (Nema 5-15P) or 240volt (Nema 6-15P) ballast cables
An internal heavy duty relay turns the lights on and off by connecting the pre-wired 15 foot 120 volt trigger cable to a controller or time clock
Housed in a heat-sink aluminum enclosure that is designed to remove the heat allow cooler operation
Heavy duty 40-amp industrial contactors
30 amp @240volt main power supply (3-wire #10 AWG cable)

NOTE: The HPH-4 is a high-power device. Locate the HPH-4 away from other sensitive electronics. Even though the enclosure is sealed, DO NOT spray the unit with water... especially the receptacles.
